How to Coexist with AI-Driven Reality Distortion, Disinformation, & Addiction in the Metaverse.   Interview with Winn Schwartau.

The metaverse has been evolving since the first oral storytellers stimulated their audiences’ imaginations millennia ago. Orson Welles clearly confirmed the power of immersive storytelling in 1938. Today, audiences beg for more immersive experiences. The metaverse is destined to become the most powerful and addictive reality distortion machine ever conceived.

Metawar is the art and science of distorting realities by creating believable artificial immersive simulations in the metaverse. We have watched social media and deepfake technologies become the spear tip of the current forms of metawar since 2015.

Definition:  meta– is a Greek word that means “after” or “beyond”. It is used as a prefix in many words to indicate something that relates to or involves the original thing.

Winn has been the recipient of a host of industry recognitions including SC Magazine’s Top 20 Industry Pioneers, Security Magazine’s 25 Most Influential, and Network World’s Power Thinker, He is a Fellow at the Royal Society of the Arts, a Distinguished Fellow at the Ponemon Institute, as well as an inductee at the ISSA Int’l Security Hall of Fame.
