They USE IT to garner audience share and then turn it around in the Candidates favor. Polling numbers go up and it DOESN’T MATTER THE NATURE OF THE INCIDENT… THEY GOT YOUR ATTENTION. YOUR EYEBALLS ON THE TARGET. Then all they have to do is KEEP THEM THERE.
